Beijing World Cup Track Squad |

The CSA Track Commission has selected a full 9 rider squad to represent South Africa at the Beijing World Cup from 22 to 24 January 2010.
There are a number of firsts for this trip:
- First time a SA Men’s Team Pursuit has entered a World Cup
- First time a SA Women’s Team Sprint has entered a World Cup
- The largest number of riders to represent SA at one World Cup

Manchester Track World Cup |

James Louter has exercised the option of attending the Manchester World Cup as a self funded athlete . All riders on the national track squad may attend world class competitions even if they have not been selected as part of a national team, provided they have been selected as part of the national track squad . All of these trips are self funded and the athletes are entitled to the usual incentive schemes should they progress through to finals or obtain podium places.

TrackSA hereby announces the selection of the team to represent South Africa at the Track Cycling World Cup in Cali , Columbia from 10 to 12 December 2009.
- Nolan Hoffman (Points Race & Madison)
- Dean Edwards (Scratch Race & Madison)
- Michael Thompson (1 K TT & Keirin)
- Team Manager : William Newman
The selections and participation in this event are in line with the long term plans of TrackSA , which are available on www.cyclingsa.com , and we hope to follow this up with further international participation in similar events in early 2010, depending on the availability of funding .
