The main purpose of the upcoming selection race is to select national squads for the future ,which the Cycling SA Track Commission can work with for future important upcoming international events . In addition,we have the upcoming 2008 / 9 World Cup Track Events, the first of which takes place in Manchester from 31 Oct 2008 to 2 Nov 2009 . We would like to select a team of 2 sprinters and 2 endurance riders to possibly visit the Manchester World Cup and also the CopenhagenWorld Cup in February 2009. This decision will be made by the end of Sept 2008,once we can confirm that the funding is available to send these riders to these events .
